Lorri was first elected to the Anaheim City Council in 2004 and re-elected in 2008, and remains the ONLY Democratic woman to serve there. During her two terms on the council, Lorri served as Mayor Pro Tem and Director of the Orange County Transportation Authority. She left office in 2012 due to term limits.
Having a reputation of being a political moderate, she understands that building consensus is the gateway to effective leadership. Lorri has been a passionate voice for working families in Anaheim, as well as an advocate for creating and sustaining strong economic opportunities for businesses, both large and small.
